Nature Coast Roasted

Because we roast our own beans in-house we can offer fresher, higher-quality coffee that results in a better-tasting cup of coffee for you.

“Why Is it Called
Mountaineer Coffee?”

Not because Brooksville sits at a lofty 194 feet above sea level (although by Florida standards that might make us a mountain town). Co-founder Daniel Pritz named the business after his grandpa’s antique store “Mountaineer Antiques”. A West Virginia native and graduate of West Virginia University, his grandpa opened the antique store in downtown Brooksville over 30 years ago. We’ve continued the legacy of doing business in downtown, and are thankful daily for the community that comes with sharing coffee. Forming relationships with farmers, producers, importers, and customers continues to inspire us and keep us excited about delivering a quality product.

Passing through the area and have heard a lot about this place. It did not disappoint! We tried a Large Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte iced and one hot with a total cost around $11. Both are delicious! I like that is a local owned business that also sells different roasted beans. There is also a cold case with other offered beverages. There is a separate room called “the market” with different products for sale. This particular location is open daily 7am-7pm. On Fridays at 7pm, they turn into a bar and stay open until 10:30pm. I highly recommend you trying this place out! We will come back again!”
